Mirko Pasta

SORRY we have not blogged for a while! I have been CRAZY busy at work and Tiffanie is sleeping
most of her days now that she has baby number 2 on the way!
Tiffanie told me about this place that opened up next to her house Mirko Pasta
She ranted and raved about it...but  she is pregnant so she pretty much would rant and rave over applesauce!
Holly (my old co-worker and AWESOME photographer check out her work HollyBrooke Photography)

Told me I HAD to go here because not only was it CHEAP $4.50 for pasta $5 for the sauce but on
Monday's it is free pasta night!! SO you get your meal for $5 bucks and it is bigger portions than Olive Garden (not to mention WAY better). I would go there even without the free pasta because it is so so cheap

Most places no one likes to wait AT ALL here you may want too because you get a free glass of Sangria when you wait for your table! Also they give you bread the size of your HEAD and it comes with a bean dip!
*Don't eat the bean dip if your a vegetarian it is made with bacon fat*

Here are some menu highlights and pictures
Bruschetta Classica- Grilled homemade bread with fresh diced tomatoes, basil, garlic, black olives and olive oil $5

Impepata di Cozze al Pomodoro Steamed- mussels with white wine and spicy tomato sauce $8

Insalata di Spinaci Fresh baby spinach, goat cheese, raisins with a balsamic, honey and walnut dressing Full $6 Half $3.50

  2. I just spoke with Mirko and the white bean dip is not made with bacon fat! They may have changed the recipe in the past few years - just wanted to let you know :)
